EDM DJ Samantha Togni released her debut remix of Elle & Blake’s “Prisma” on 29th August 2015 on Eclectic Records. Her “Trap” remix is inspired by a futuristic march for a sinister ritual powered by the force of heavy kicks and synths. Slow and spacious in sound the remix leads you on a disrupted spiritual Trap journey….
DJ support for the remix has been awesome and it has also aired on Shoreditch Radio!
“Samantha Togni remix is super cool ” Tom Stephan – Superchumbo / Southern Fries / Skint / Twisted
“Samantha Togni remix is a total block rocking remix. Total Support ” – Larry T ( NYC) Ultra Carnage Music
SlimDali was created from a Surreal Pop science experiment in the Oil Records lab .Born with a distinctive fully waxed mustache and an affinity for melting clocks the name seems rather fitting. “The Clan” EP which is now out on official download is part of a series of upcoming EP self -releases and follows on from his debut “Cult” EP this Spring.
Straddling the line between art and pop and never inhabiting reality quite as we know it, SlimDali’s surreal and danceable music is reminiscent of Talking Heads, Japan, Metronomy and the Human League. The whole art project is a solo byproduct of Slim Dali as nobody else was involved in the making and final outcome of this unique EP. An eccentric with a sense of humour this is your insight into the art haus performance world of SlimDali ……
“Pagan Chant” from The Clan EP aired on Tom Robinsons 6 music BBC Introducing mixtape with favourable words …
“A fascinating manifesto/definitely watch this space” – Tom Robinson 6 Music /Fresh On The Net

The Vex are an English rock band, formed to re-ignite the original wave of British Punk which called out the establishment of bygone eras. The 4-piece effortlessly intertwine Rock and Reggae, creating their own brand of heavy Rocksteady, loaded with provocative lyrics and distorted, irritated arrangements.
After releasing their debut single, Martyr, last year, the band joined forces with Alabama 3′s record label Hostage Music in 2014. ‘Approval and Reason’ marks the first single release from their forthcoming EP ‘Deconstruct’ and it was fantastic to have airplay support from Frank Skinner on his Absolute Radio breakfast show ..
“the best live band I’ve seen in a long time.” Carl Barat – The Libertines.

Oxford Style was formed by singer / songwriter Paul Nicholson. The eccentric British artist combines melodic pop, piano-led cabaret and heavy guitar riffs to create music that is both elegant and aggressive. All of this combined with a pinch of British humour and, of course …..style. Oxford Style’s previous videos with 1-2-hear have premiered on Artrocker along with airplay on Absolute Radio with Frank Skinner, Shoreditch Radio, Amazing Radio, Digital Fix’s “Single Of The Week” and Live 4 Evers “New Tunes Highlight”.
So it was great to have Frank Skinner back on board on his Absolute Radio breakfast show with airplay of Oxford Style’s 3rd self release – Inheritance. Watch the video here

Welsh rock duo BK & Dad were made up to have BBC Wales onside for their “Kingdom Of Fear” release on Gravy Records.Norwich based BK & Dad have a sense of longing for their Aberystwyth homeland, even naming themselves after a local firm of scrap merchants. This longing is translated into their overall art, with their ‘stupidly good’ (The Quietus) live show replete with astonishing visuals of Welsh landmarks including Snowdonia. So big thanks to Adam Walton for airing the track not once but twice on his BBC Wales show
“Very very good indeed !” – Adam Walton BBC Wales

BK & Dad are a rock duo made up of Leo (vocals / electric guitar) and Pip (drums). The Welsh two -piece are releasing their Loggerhead EP with a bonus additional digital track on June 29th via Gravy Records (The Pearl Harts/ God Damn/ Bad Grammar). The turbo rockers throw a cascade of “Kingdom Of Fear” noise at you, with Sabbath detours of gunning drums, wind bitten rock outs and mouldering quarry psych.
They deliver a raw, explosive, bracing, psych-rock punch live show which has seen them perform at the XFM X-posure all dayer and Artrocker New Blood Festival.Stuart Maconie likes them enough to play them on his 6 music Freakzone show, John Kennedy of Xfm is a fan and they’ve supported the likes of Part Chimp, Acid Mothers Temple, Acoustic Ladyland and Xaviers.
